Best Western Plus Hotel Bern

Hotel was fully equipped and wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Booked a room with a bathtub.

The room is spacious and the design very modern. The hotel's central location was ideal for us as we were in Bern only for one night. We just walked around to see the places we wanted to see. The staff were nice, courteous and very helpful. It was a very enjoyable stay for us.

No complaints at all.

Location.

Our room had a nice balcony, although not very cosy. A very nice design bathroom with a bathtube. Excellent location in the center of the city, with that not far from central railway station. Relatively quiet. Staff was friendly (we were even given a marzippan bears as a farewell present, which was very nice).

The lobby was relatively small and filled with the smell of the adjacent restaurant - but this is a relly minor comment.

Very convenient location in historic Bern area; clean rooms; no wireless internet in room but free and fast 'cable' access.

No air conditioning; room faced courtyard, so couldn't leave curtains open for air circulation; use of old-fashioned metal keys/keyrings - had to make sure you physically locked the room each time you left and leave the key at hotel desk (too big and heavy to carry around).

Excellent Location- about 5 min walking to the train main station, close to restaurants, shopping & sites in historical city. Helpful staff, excellent bearkfast, single room size was verygood & comfortable.

our room was bright, fantastic with central heating, a safe box and multi-channel television, had a fantastic experience. the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom here was nice sized. location: the hotel was next to trams and most city centre places of interest, the main tourist points and restaurants, and public transport.

The room is too small. The matress is very thin and uncomfortable. They provide one pillow only. There is no round-the-clock room service, I had to buy food from the restaurant and carry it to my room. The surrounding area is not what I imagined.

Excellent and exceptionally nice location minute walk from a figure fountain.

The hotel was close to many attactions and resturants. However, there were many alternatives on the same block.

The bed was so "firm" it felt like I was sleeping on a sheet of plywood. I had to ask three times for a fan to cool off my room because they had no air conditioning. Every day I left the window in my room wide open to insure maximum air circulation and the hotel's cleaning staff closed it each day causing the room to heat up to the point that I would start sweating as soon as I came into the room.

Nothing much apart from the exterior design

Was completely shocked when we walked into the room. The room was so small compared to what we see on the website. The most ridiculous thing is that all the rooms do not have air conditioning system!! The price is ridiculously expensive for such a small room and location (not really near to the station, around 10 mins walk)

Excellent central location in a great city, comfortable rooms and nice ambience.

I can live with paying 189chf for a single room in this instance because I wanted the location, but the fact that they want another 18chf for breakfast is a bit miserable.
